Software Engineer

• Design and implement software systems spanning wearable devices, iOS/Android mobile applications, and distributed backend services
• Debug race conditions, thread-safety issues, and complex concurrency issues
• Optimize CPU, memory, latency, and system reliabilities
• Manage memory, resource ownership, race conditions, and deadlock preventions

We are looking for a Senior Mobile Systems Engineer with extensive client-server experience to join a team focused on AI capabilities. This role involves designing and implementing complex software systems that span wearable devices, iOS/Android mobile applications, and distributed backend services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in optimizing system performance and reliability., * 10+ years of relevant experience

• Proficient in Kotlin or Swift and asynchronous programming
• Experience building mobile products with distributed backends
• Experience in multithreaded, event-driven systems
• Expertise in system engineering, including architecture design, performance optimization, and system reliability improvements
• Experience with AOSP is a plus
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

Desired skills:

• Experience building wearable products (glasses, watches, MR headsets, etc)
• Proficient in system programming with C++ or Rust
• Experience with AI/ML Engineering including LLM prompt tuning, evaluation, tool calling, and agent workflows
