AI Engineer

Insight Global is looking for a Software Engineer with functional expertise in AI Application and Development within the Finance or Accounting divisions of businesses. This person will be supporting the team by working on a team building new AI Agents to help automate data processing for the Finance Department.

They will need to work with close to 100% accuracy, work alongside Data Engineers, Data Scientists, and other Software Engineers. Their main daily responsibilities will include working with our finance users to automate some of the 5,000 Journal Entries they create every month, and rebuilding applications within the Oracle and Microsoft Fabric network.

4+ Years of experience working on .NET platforms

• Projects building AI Services in Cloud (AI Foundry Projects with designing or developing custom AI Applications would be most transferrable, but hard to find)
• Experience designing Agent Apps using Microsoft Agent Framework or Lang graph or Lang Chain or other similar open-source frameworks. (.NET and Python supported language for development)

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Azure Cloud (Has worked on building and deploying applications to Azure Cloud PaaS)
• Experience with using infrastructure as code (Experience deploying to cloud using Azure DevOps CI/CD)
• Working experience withing the following databases - Cosmos DB, Postgres, SQL, Oracle, etc.
• Architecture/Design experience: Working on designing or developing distributed system or Event Driven architecture
