Full Stack Java Developer

We are seeking Junior Full Stack Java Developers to support a large-scale public-sector healthcare application for client. The ideal candidates will have foundational experience in Java/J2EE development, Spring Framework, Angular, SQL, and enterprise web applications. Developers will collaborate with an established development team to build, enhance, test, and maintain scalable applications using a multi-tier architecture and service-oriented architecture (SOA). Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain enterprise applications using Java/J2EE technologies. Participate in the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirements analysis, design, development, documentation, and testing. Build and maintain multi-tier web applications using service-oriented architecture. Develop and maintain RESTful or other web services. Write and execute unit tests using JUnit and follow established coding standards. Work with relational databases, SQL queries, and ORM tools. Troubleshoot application issues and implement reliable software solutions. Collaborate with developers and other stakeholders to meet functional and technical requirements. Use AI-assisted development tools to support code generation, debugging, and unit testing. Required Technical Skills

2 4 years of professional software development experience. Strong foundational knowledge of Core Java and Java/J2EE. Experience with the Spring Framework. Familiarity with ORM tools such as Hibernate or JPA. Knowledge of Java build tools such as Maven or Gradle. Experience with Angular. Understanding of web services, SOA, and multi-tier application architecture. Experience writing SQL queries and working with relational databases. Familiarity with JUnit and unit testing. At least 1 year of experience working with large-scale applications. Basic understanding of prompt engineering and AI coding assistants such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Amazon Kiro, or Claude Code. Preferred Qualifications Experience with DB2 SQL and/or PL/SQL. Healthcare, Medicaid, or Health Benefit Exchange experience. Experience supporting government or enterprise applications. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field, or equivalent education and experience.
