NET Developer

We are looking for a .NET Developer to help convert our WinForms desktop application into a web application built with C#, ASP.NET MVC and Bootstrap. You’ll bring existing screens and features to the web, matching the behaviour customers rely on while building responsive pages and maintaining a clean MVC architecture., * Web migration: Convert WinForms screens and features to the web, matching existing behaviour.

• Web development: Build responsive pages using ASP.NET MVC, Razor, Bootstrap, HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
• Application architecture: Keep controllers thin and place logic in the right layer, including view models, services and data access.
• Database development: Write and optimise SQL Server queries and stored procedur

We’re seeking a highly skilled .Net Developer to join our team in the UK., You’ll be part of a forward-thinking team with the freedom to innovate and the opportunity to make a real impact in the rental technology space.

• Strong C# and .NET development experience.
• ASP.NET MVC experience, including controllers, Razor views, view models, routing and validation.
• A sound understanding of MVC separation of concerns and what belongs in controllers, view models, services and data access.
• Experience with Bootstrap, HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
• SQL Server and T-SQL experience.
• Experience using Azure DevOps.
• A keen eye for detail, clear communication, collaborative working and ownership of your work.

It’s a bonus if you have:

• Experience migrating WinForms or other desktop applications to the web.
• Experience with ASP.NET Core.
• Knowledge of rental, hire or ERP software and business processes.

Salary: £50,000, depending upon experience

Fixed-term, full-time · 6 or 12 months

Hybrid (3 days in the office, 2 days at home)
