The successful candidate must be a confident, innovative, systems developer with a background in .NET and related technologies, who is ready to hit the ground running.

The Role Will Involve Working on a wide variety of new and existing projects across multiple platforms (Web, Desktop and Mobile) using the Microsoft .NET stack. The team works on both internal and customer-facing applications; and the successful applicant will be expected to provide support to end-users.

The ideal candidate will be familiar with the full software design life cycle. They should have experience in designing, coding, and testing applications; and should be comfortable coding in a variety of languages.

Essential Skills

  • Minimum of 3 years experience working with .NET technologies, specifically ASP.NET.
  • Practical experience working with SQL or NoSQL Databases.
  • Knowledge of RESTFful concepts and architectures.
  • Strong proficiency working with real-time, event-driven data, using TCP/IP or Web Sockets.
  • A passion for clean, reusable code; following SOLID principles, and DDD.
  • Ability to perform debugging and troubleshooting across multiple environments including Linux and Windows servers.
  • Working knowledge of version control systems (Git/SVN).
  • High analytical capability.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Ability and willingness to travel to different locations.
  • A current full UK driving licence.

Preferred Skills

  • Knowledge of Project management methodologies - including Agile.
  • Experience developing for, and deploying to, cloud computing platforms (Azure/AWS).
  • Experience working on microservice based systems.
  • Experience with container technologies (Docker, k8s).
  • Experience working with .NET desktop technologies, such as WPF and WinForms.
  • Embedded systems development.
