Job description

Latshaw Drilling is seeking a dependable and customer-focused Help Desk Technician to join our IT team. This position serves as the primary point of contact for employees experiencing technical issues related to hardware, software, networking, and user access., * Provide first-level technical support via phone, email, remote support, and in-person assistance

  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, printer, and connectivity issues
  • Log, track, prioritize, and close support tickets within the IT Service Management (ITSM) system
  • Support Windows desktops/laptops, Microsoft Office applications, mobile devices, and core business systems
  • Perform Active Directory user administration including password resets, account unlocks, and account maintenance
  • Install, configure, maintain, and deploy workstations, printers, and peripherals
  • Escalate unresolved or advanced technical issues to senior IT staff when necessary
  • Assist with onboarding/offboarding activities including equipment setup and account provisioning
  • Create and maintain IT documentation, knowledge base articles, and standard procedures
  • Support remote users and field personnel as needed

Technical Environment

Experience with the following technologies is preferred:

  • Windows 10/11
  • Windows Server environments
  • Active Directory
  • On-premise Microsoft Exchange
  • VPN connectivity
  • Printers and scanners
  • Basic TCP/IP networking
  • Remote support tools
  • Desktop and laptop hardware troubleshooting
  • Mobile device support

Requirements

Do you have experience in Windows?, Do you have a Associate’s degree?, The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a willingness to learn, and a passion for solving technical problems in a fast-paced environment., * Associate degree in Information Technology or related field preferred, or equivalent work experience

  • 0-3 years of IT support, help desk, or customer service experience
  • Previous experience in the oil and gas industry is a plus
