Controls Design Engineer

Controls Design Engineer - Kansas City, MO - $25-$40/hr.+ 100% Paid Medical + 401k, * Design, draft, and manage BAS control system architecture from initial concept to project completion

• Prepare detailed design packages, submittals, and documentation for installations
• Develop graphical interfaces and assist with configuration of control software
• Ensure design deliverables meet project timelines and technical standards
• Conduct on-site assessments and collaborate with engineering and installation teams

Technical/Engineering Design, Technical/Engineering Design, Home Automation, Retrofit, Control Engineering, AutoCAD, Microsoft Visio, Control Systems, Graphical User Interface (GUI), Program Control, * Experience working as a BAS Design Engineer or in a similar controls engineering role

• Proficient with AutoCAD or MS Visio for control system layouts and design
• Hands-on experience developing and modifying Tridium graphical user interfaces
• Capable of creating and interpreting detailed Sequences of Operations (SOO)
• Understanding of controls programming fundamentals and BAS troubleshooting
• Strong documentation, communication, and technical writing skills
• Comfortable conducting job walks and coordinating with contractors, engineers, and internal teams
• Knowledge of building automation and energy management systems
• Experience with ALC (Automated Logic) is a plus

• Hourly Rate: $25.00-$40.00/hr. (DOE)
