Job description

  • Lead, develop and inspire a team of analytics professionals, setting clear priorities, building capabilities and creating a culture of collaboration, curiosity and accountability.
  • Set the analytics strategy and roadmap for the existing customer portfolio, ensuring the team focuses on opportunities that increase customer value, product adoption, engagement, retention and revenue.
  • Guide the team in developing customer segmentation, predictive models, test-and-learn programs and optimization strategies focused on cross-selling, retention, dormancy reactivation and attrition reduction.
  • Serve as a senior analytics partner to business leaders, translating commercial challenges into analytical priorities and turning complex insights into clear strategies and recommendations.
  • Oversee the quality, scalability and effectiveness of the team’s analytical work, including the use of transactional and financial data, SQL- and Python-based analysis, automation and performance measurement.

Requirements

  • Proven experience leading and developing analytics teams, including setting priorities, managing performance, coaching talent and building strong analytical capabilities.
  • Strong commercial analytics experience focused on customer value optimization, cross-selling, retention and engagement, ideally within payments, financial services or an SME environment.
  • A track record of partnering with senior stakeholders to define business problems, shape analytical solutions and translate insights into measurable commercial outcomes.
  • Strong understanding of advanced analytics, including SQL, Python, segmentation, predictive modeling and test-and-learn methodologies, with the ability to provide direction and challenge technical approaches rather than personally execute every analysis.
  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, Finance or a related discipline.

It’s a bonus if you have

  • Experience leading teams working with Snowflake, APIs and modern data platforms.
  • Experience integrating data and analytics solutions with Salesforce CRM.
  • Knowledge of the payments industry, small and medium-sized businesses, and existing-customer management strategies.

You’ll bring an entrepreneurial mindset, move comfortably in a fast-paced environment and maintain a strong focus on execution across multiple priorities. As a people leader, you’ll create clarity for your team, empower individuals to make decisions and build strong partnerships across the business. You’ll think like a client by ensuring analytics starts with customer and commercial needs, act like an owner by taking accountability for your team’s outcomes, and win as one team by bringing people together to turn insight into action.

About the company

Globalpayers think like a client, act like an owner and win as one team. We’re curious and innovative - always finding better ways to deliver impact. We empower each other to make decisions, and it’s our passion that drives excellence in everything we set out to do.
