Senior System Engineer in Pittsburgh

Motive Workforce is hiring a Senior Systems Engineer for an advanced manufacturing organization based in New Kensington, PA. This hands-on role supports and modernizes enterprise IT across multiple manufacturing sites. You will own complex technical escalations, lead infrastructure projects, and build secure, scalable systems across on-premises, hybrid, and cloud environments.

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or a related field, or equivalent experience. \n

• 7+ years of enterprise IT experience delivering and supporting complex systems. \n

• 5+ years of hands-on Microsoft Azure administration experience. \n

• Strong Microsoft 365 experience, including Entra ID, Teams, SharePoint, Intune, Defender, and Exchange. \n

• Deep knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, certificates, hybrid , and Windows Server through 2022.

• Serve as the Tier 3 escalation point for complex hardware, software, endpoint, , and infrastructure issues. \n

• Lead system migrations, upgrades, new implementations, and modernization projects from design through operational handoff. \n

• Design and support hybrid environments across Microsoft Azure, AWS, Microsoft 365, VMware, and on-premises infrastructure. \n

• Administer Microsoft Entra ID, Conditional Access, PIM, MFA, governance, and least-privilege access controls. \n

• Support Teams, SharePoint Online, Exchange Online, Intune, Defender, and other Microsoft 365 services. \n

• Manage Windows 10 and 11 endpoint environments and Windows Server environments through Server 2022. \n

• Support Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, certificates, virtualization, and hybrid . \n

• Design and support firewalls, VLANs, VPNs, routing, switching, wireless access points, and Fortinet equipment. \n

• Support cloud and collaboration migrations, including tenant-to-tenant and post-acquisition integrations. \n

• Implement automation and scripting that improves reliability and reduces manual work. \n

• Create SOPs, knowledge-base articles, and technical documentation. \n

• Mentor IT team members and provide clear technical guidance across the organization. \n
