AWS DevOps / Platform Engineer *

CGI is seeking an AWS DevOps / Platform Engineer with 5+ years of experience in DevOps, platform engineering, or AWS infrastructure automation to support shared cloud platforms across multiple application and Scrum teams. The role requires hands on expertise in Python, Terraform, Kubernetes, GitLab CI/CD, and AWS, particularly Lambda and serverless solutions., Responsibilities include developing Python and shell automation, building reusable Terraform modules, maintaining CI/CD pipelines, supporting Kubernetes environments, and troubleshooting cloud infrastructure and application issues. The engineer will work closely with application teams to integrate security and automated testing into delivery workflows and improve platform reliability.

Amazon Web Services (AWS), DevOps, Amazon Web Services (AWS), DevOps, Project/Program Management, Category Management, YouTube, Cookies, Data Processing, Python Programming/Scripting Language, Strong communication, technical judgment, and stakeholder management skills are essential to prioritize requests and support multiple teams effectively. All work must be performed from a supplier delivery center.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

. Strong AWS expertise, particularly Lambda and serverless solutions, with experience supporting ECS, RDS, SQS, SNS, and CloudWatch.

. Proficiency in Python, shell scripting, and Terraform to build automation, develop reusable infrastructure modules, and troubleshoot provisioning issues.

. Hands on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and GitLab CI/CD, including container operations, automated testing, security scanning, deployments, and rollbacks.

. Strong production troubleshooting and security skills across infrastructure, networking, APIs, databases, and application services, including vulnerability remediation and compliance.

. Experience supporting Java/Spring applications and enterprise integrations, with familiarity in spec driven development and responsible AI assisted engineering.

. Clear, concise communication and stakeholder management, with the ability to support multiple Agile teams, prioritize requests, explain technical decisions, and maintain documentation.

Educational Requirements:

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $95,700.00 $123,200.00.
