IBM BAW / FileNet Consultant

STAFFXPERT LLC is seeking an IBM BAW / FileNet Consultant on behalf of our client in Harrisburg, PA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, enhancing, maintaining, and supporting enterprise workflow and document management solutions. This role requires strong expertise in IBM Business Automation Workflow (BAW), IBM FileNet, Java/J2EE, and enterprise content management platforms. The consultant will play a key role in application modernization, workflow automation, system integrations, and production support within a large-scale enterprise environment., Design, develop, and maintain business workflows using IBM Business Automation Workflow (BAW). Support enterprise case management and document management applications. Develop and maintain IBM FileNet solutions, including content repositories, metadata management, and document lifecycle processes. Build and support integrations between workflow, content management, and enterprise applications. Support and enhance IBM Case Manager and IBM Content Navigator solutions. Develop and maintain Java/J2EE applications, web services, APIs, and backend components. Troubleshoot complex application, workflow, document processing, integration, and performance issues. Develop and integrate RESTful and SOAP-based services. Analyze existing systems and recommend improvements for performance, scalability, and modernization. Perform testing, debugging, deployment validation, and production support activities. Create and maintain technical documentation, workflow configurations, and system specifications. Collaborate with business stakeholders, developers, infrastructure teams, and data management teams to deliver effective solutions. Utilize Azure DevOps and Git for source control, work tracking, and deployment activities. Provide knowledge transfer and technical support to internal teams.

Strong experience with IBM Business Automation Workflow (BAW) development and support. Hands-on experience with IBM FileNet Content Manager and enterprise content management solutions. Experience with IBM Case Manager and IBM Content Navigator. Proficiency in Java/J2EE development. Experience building and integrating REST and SOAP web services. Knowledge of enterprise workflow automation and document management systems. Experience supporting document capture, OCR, and document processing solutions. Expertise in troubleshooting, debugging, and resolving complex application issues. Experience with Azure DevOps, Git, CI/CD pipelines, and source code management. Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting large-scale enterprise or government environments. Knowledge of application modernization and digital transformation initiatives. Experience with enterprise system integration and workflow optimization. Familiarity with content management, case management, and document automation best practices
