Job description
- DevOps Engineer focused on modernizing and converging authoring, dissemination, and supporting tools.
- Responsible for application deployment, software configuration, system monitoring, and troubleshooting.
- Participates in a rotating pager schedule for emergency call-in support., * Deploy applications and install and configure complex software systems.
- Manage network servers and technology tools while monitoring and maintaining system performance.
- Troubleshoot operational issues and outages to ensure high availability.
- Participate in a rotating pager schedule for emergency 24/7 call-in support (approximately one week out of every 4-6 weeks).
- Work with Linux, AWS, virtual machines, and Docker Swarm container environments.
- Build and maintain deployment pipelines using GitLab CI/CD and Git.
- Develop infrastructure as code and provisioning automation using Terraform and Ansible.
- Utilize Docker and Docker Compose container technologies.
- Support troubleshooting and integration involving Python, NiFi, Elasticsearch, Java, Spring Boot, HAProxy, and MongoDB.
Telework: Up to one day per week of telework is supported, with the remainder performed on-site.
Requirements
- Degree: Technical bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Years of experience: 6+ years
- Total Compensation: $241k+ yearly (tentative)
