Job description

NF & IWS Systems, in partnership with the FI Rep Configuration Delivery Team, is looking for a highly motivated Mainframe Senior Software Engineer to join the team. This candidate will focus on supporting our management system for our representatives, will assist with our client conversion activities, and will perform analysis for our mainframe modernization journey. They will work directly with both technical and business partners to fulfill our clients’ needs. Additionally, the ideal candidate will be working to learn various distributed technologies including AWS in order to assist with our modernization efforts. They would be responsible for delivering quality products consistent with Fidelity’s high standards.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Mainframe development?, * 5+ years of mainframe software development experience using Cobol, DB2, JCL, VSAM

  • Knowledge of SQL, File-aid, Eztrieve and SPUFI is preferred
  • Experience in Agile development methodology and Jira
  • Knowledge of Snaplogic, Snowflake and AWS is a plus
  • Exposure to Distributed Technology like JAVA, Angular, Python is an added advantage
  • Ability to work with a variety of individuals and groups, both in person and virtually, in a constructive and collaborative manner
  • Ability to quickly learn, adapt and strive to meet the needs of a fast paced, changing environment
  • Ability to navigate organizationally to accomplish tasks
  • Ability to work on multiple efforts simultaneously
  • Strong analytical and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Quick learner and willing to adapt and learn new technologies
  • Great attitude, teammate and effective contributor
  • Commitment to quality and high standards
