Job description
- Design, develop, and maintain applications using C#, ASP.NET, and .NET Core
- Develop and consume RESTful APIs and web services
- Work with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Angular/React (as applicable)
- Design and optimize SQL Server databases, stored procedures, and queries
- Participate in system design, code reviews, and performance tuning
- Implement secure coding practices and follow SDLC standards
- Collaborate with Business Analysts, QA, and DevOps teams
- Support application deployments and production issues
- Mentor junior developers and provide technical leadership
- Prepare technical documentation and design specifications
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience as a .NET Developer
- Strong expertise in:
- C#, ASP.NET MVC/Web API
- .NET Core / .NET 6+
- Entity Framework
- Solid experience with SQL Server
- Experience with REST APIs and microservices architecture
- Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines
- Strong understanding of OOP, design patterns, and SDLC
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills
- Experience with Angular or React
- Cloud experience with Azure / AWS
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes
- Knowledge of DevOps practices
- Experience working on government or public sector projects
- .NET or Azure certifications
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (preferred)
