Job description
- Design, develop and maintain applications using C#, .NET 8 and ASP.NET Core.
- Build and consume RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Write clean, testable, well-documented code that follows SOLID principles.
- Design database schemas and write efficient queries in SQL Server, using Entity Framework Core.
- Integrate with third-party services and internal systems.
- Write unit and integration tests (xUnit or NUnit) and take part in code reviews.
- Troubleshoot, debug and improve the performance of existing applications.
- Work in an Agile/Scrum team and contribute to sprint planning and estimates.
- Support CI/CD pipelines and cloud deployments, on Azure or AWS.
Requirements
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with C# and .NET or .NET Core.
- Strong knowledge of ASP.NET Core MVC and Web API.
- Experience with Entity Framework Core, LINQ and SQL Server.
- Understanding of OOP, design patterns and dependency injection.
- Experience with Git and modern development workflows.
- Familiarity with front-end basics: HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
- Good problem-solving and communication skills.
Nice to have
- Experience with Angular, React or Blazor.
- Experience with Azure services such as App Service, Functions or Service Bus, or with AWS.
- Docker, Kubernetes and microservices architecture.
- Message queues such as RabbitMQ or Azure Service Bus, and caching with Redis.
- Experience setting up CI/CD with Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions., Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
