Physician, Psychiatry PHP/IOP (Modesto, CA)

Gould Medical Group is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Psychiatrist to serve as Medical Director for our Partial Hospitalization/Intensive Outpatient Program for behavioral health. The Medical Director provides clinical leadership, medical oversight, and direct psychiatric care to ensure safe, effective, and compliant treatment delivery., * Starting base salary: $340,000

• 8 FTE clinical psychiatry and 0.2 FTE administrative
• Sign-on bonus

• Provide physician leadership and oversight of all PHP/IOP clinical services.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to support coordinated care
• Ensure therapeutic approaches align with program goals and evidence-based practices
• Conduct psychiatric evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and manage medications.
• Supervise and collaborate with Advanced Practice Providers and multidisciplinary team members.
• Support staff with clinical questions, case discussions, and treatment planning
• Ensure compliance with state, federal, and accreditation standards.
• Participate in case conferences, treatment team meetings, and quality-improvement initiatives.
• Oversee appropriate patient flow and adherence to safety and documentation standards.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation and medical records.
• Collaborate with therapists and program managers to ensure high-quality, evidence-based care
• Provide medication management
• Promote a patient-centered, recovery-oriented model of care.
• Behavioral Health department consists of Psychiatrists, Psychologists, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists, Licensed Clinical Social Workers, and Advanced Practice Clinicians
