Job description

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented IT Project Coordinator to support the planning, execution, and monitoring of IT projects. In this role, you will manage project schedules, budgets, and risks, ensuring seamless coordination and adherence to the project management framework. A key responsibility will be maintaining clear and consistent communication with internal departments and external vendors, providing updates to ensure alignment and progress across all stakeholders. This position plays a vital role in ensuring projects are well-organized, run efficiently, and achieve desired outcomes., The following and other duties may be assigned as necessary:

  • Collaborate with project managers, customers, and vendors to define project requirements, scopes, and objectives that align with organizational goals.
  • Organize and manage all IT-related aspects of projects and their dependencies to ensure timely delivery within established timelines and deliverables.
  • Monitor project progress and prepare detailed status reports for project managers and stakeholders.
  • Identify, report, and escalate project risks and outcomes to appropriate management channels as needed.
  • Assist in the creation and maintenance of project management documentation as directed by the project manager.
  • Act as a communication liaison between Terrible’s and external resources to ensure seamless collaboration.
  • Plan, schedule, communicate, and execute project tasks effectively.
  • Ensure adherence to organizational standards and best practices while achieving project goals.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Do you have a valid Certified Project Manager certification?, Do you have experience in Vendor communication?, To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.   • Minimum of two years of experience in working on or managing projects.
  • Demonstrated experience in coordinating teams and collaborating with vendors.
  • Proven ability to work effectively with all levels of management.
  • Working knowledge of project management principles and practices.
  • Ability to obtain a Project Management certification (e.g., CompTIA Project+, CAPM, PMP) within 12 months of hire.
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across diverse audiences., Ability to read and interpret documents in English, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to read and communicate verbally in English. Written communication skills in in English may also be required.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Employee must be able to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state and local regulations., The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and must have the ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop, stack, crouch, kneel and balance when performing job duties in varying work areas such as confined spaces., * Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
  • Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization’s facilities with reliable transportation.
