Job description
We are looking for a skilled Java Developer to design, develop, test, and maintain scalable, high-performance applications. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, microservices, database technologies, and modern software development practices., * Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using Java and J2EE technologies.
- Build scalable backend services using Spring Boot and Spring Framework.
- Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and web services.
- Design and implement microservices-based architectures.
- Write clean, reusable, efficient, and maintainable code.
- Work with relational databases such as Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
- Write SQL queries, stored procedures, and database integration logic.
- Implement application security, authentication, and authorization.
- Perform unit testing, debugging, troubleshooting, and code reviews.
- Collaborate with business analysts, QA engineers, DevOps teams, and other developers.
- Use Git for version control and Maven or Gradle for build management.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement.
- Support application deployments, production issues, and performance optimization.
- Create and maintain technical documentation.
Requirements
- Strong programming experience in Java 8 or later.
- Good understanding of OOP concepts, collections, multithreading, exception handling, and Java fundamentals.
- Experience with Spring, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Data JPA.
- Hands-on experience developing REST APIs and microservices.
- Knowledge of Hibernate, JPA, and ORM concepts.
- Experience with SQL and relational databases.
- Familiarity with Git, Maven/Gradle, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with JUnit, Mockito, and unit testing.
- Understanding of design patterns, SOLID principles, and application architecture.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and software development life cycle (SDLC).
Preferred Skills
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with Kafka or other messaging technologies.
- Familiarity with Redis or other caching solutions.
- Exposure to Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar CI/CD tools.
- Knowledge of monitoring, logging, and application performance tuning.
- Familiarity with frontend technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, CSS, or Angular/React.
