Software Engineer 3

• The Information Technologist will work with the latest technology to modernize software product production with DevSecOps - continuous build, continuous integration, continuous test, continuous cyber, continuous deployment, and continuous metrics on aerospace programs.
• Duties include conducting trade studies and analysis of alternatives for end-of-life peer review products, leading cross-functional teams to prototype solutions, productionizing replacements for end-of-life tools, and defining and migrating existing teams to new tools.
• This role requires working with multi-disciplinary teams such as Systems Engineering, Real-time & Embedded Software, Test Automation, DevSecOps, and Systems Test in an Agile software development environment.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, architecture, development, deployment, and operation of modern DevSecOps software factories.

Software Engineering, Software Engineering, Metrics, Testing, Aerospace and Defense, Continuous Integration, Continuous Deployment/Delivery, Emerging Technology, Trade Studies, Cross-Functional, * Bachelor of Science degree in STEM with 14+ years of related professional/military experience in Software Engineering; OR Master’s degree with 12+ years; OR Ph.D. with 9+ years – (Required)

• Experience with peer review tools such as Atlassian Crucible – (Required)
• Experience with at least one object-oriented programming language (Java, JavaScript, C++, C#, Python, Swift) and software development lifecycle – (Required)
• Experience with change management tracking tools (Jira, ClearQuest, Asana) – (Required)
• Experience with continuous integration tools (Bamboo, Jenkins, Gitlab) – (Required)
• Experience with configuration management systems (GIT, GitLab, Bitbucket, Subversion) – (Required)
• Cloud technology certification (AWS, VMWare, Azure, Kubernetes) at architect level – (Preferred)
• Experience with using AI to improve peer review quality – (Preferred)
• Experience with architecting cloud solutions – (Preferred)
• Active Secret DoD Clearance with ability to obtain Top Secret – (Preferred)
• Current Special Access Program (SAP) clearance – (Preferred)
