Java Developer

We are looking for a Java Developer to join high-performing teams delivering complex and scalable software solutions. You will contribute to architectural decisions, technical innovation and mentoring, while working closely with clients and cross-functional teams in a consulting environment., * Design and develop scalable software solutions using Java

• Contribute to architectural and technical decisions
• Develop APIs, integrations and microservices
• Work within Agile/Scrum teams
• Mentor and support junior developers
• Contribute to technical innovation and continuous improvement
• Work across cloud and on-premise environments
• Follow best practices for development, testing and deployment

Core: Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate/JPA, Maven, Git Architecture: REST APIs, Microservices, System Integrations Cloud & DevOps: Azure/AWS/GCP, CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes Practices: Agile/Scrum, DevOps, Clean Code

Must Have

• 4+ years of Java development experience
• Strong Spring Boot experience
• Experience with APIs, integrations and microservices
• Experience with at least one cloud platform: Azure, AWS or GCP
• Ability to mentor and guide other developers
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Minimum C1 Dutch and strong English

Nice to Have

• Consulting or multi-client experience
• Kafka or event-driven architecture experience
• Kubernetes/containerisation experience
• Interest in technical leadership or architecture

Requirements

Based in the Netherlands with hybrid working

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field
