Systems Security Engineer | Contract

We’re working with a leading Irish organisation to find a skilled Systems Security Engineer for a contract engagement based in Cork. This is a technically focused role sitting within a security-conscious infrastructure team, where you’ll take ownership of the organisation’s identity and access management environment, drive hardening initiatives and support ongoing cloud transformation.

What you’ll be doing

• Owning and hardening the Active Directory environment, including tiering design, GPO restructuring, and remediation against CIS and audit benchmarks
• Managing Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) including Conditional Access policies, Privileged Identity Management, and guest account governance
• Driving Microsoft Intune policy deployment and mobile endpoint security across the organisation
• Leading Microsoft Purview implementation and configuration, supporting data governance and compliance requirements
• Contributing to Zero Trust architecture, PAM solutions, and network segmentation initiatives

Do you have experience in UEM?, * Expert-level Active Directory hardening and security - including tiering, GPO design, and CIS benchmark compliance

• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure AD)
• Proven Intune experience including Conditional Access policy management
• Microsoft Purview - configuration and data governance experience
• Demonstrable background working within regulated or security-sensitive environments
