Software Engineering Manager, FactSet Research Systems Inc. Manage a team of software engineers or projects within the Search and Look Up department. Duties include: Review product requirement documents; problem solving and working on high-level (operational or architectural) issues to ensure effectiveness of products under direct management; implements and tracks development timelines, and negotiates feature sets with development leads and product teams; sets goals and mentors development of ongoing projects; provides guidance and direction to team on software design and implementation; reviews code changes and submissions; presents technical & operational issues to senior management and sets deadlines and priorities for team members; helps to coordinate recruiting, training and new hire onboarding for immediate team.
