Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent experience.
-
8+ years of professional software development experience, including 8+ years of hands-on Python.
-
Strong experience building production-grade applications with FastAPI, and a solid grasp of REST API design and backend architecture.
- Experience with asynchronous programming in Python.
- Experience integrating applications with Snowflake and working with Databricks.
- Experience with Apache Iceberg tables and modern lakehouse architectures.
- Experience developing and deploying applications on Microsoft Azure.

Experience building AI-enabled or GenAI applications, including LLM integration (Azure OpenAI, OpenAI, Anthropic or similar).
- Experience with vector databases and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).
- Experience with MLflow or MLOps practices.
- Strong knowledge of SQL and database design.
- Experience with Docker and writing unit, integration and automated tests.

Excellent debugging, analytical and problem-solving skills, with strong communication and collaboration skills. Preferred Qualifications
- Front-end experience with a modern framework such as React or Angular and TypeScript.
- Experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure Functions or Azure App Services.

Experience with Azure API Management, Azure Key Vault, and Azure Event Hubs or Service Bus.
- Experience with Terraform or other Infrastructure as Code tools, and with Azure DevOps CI/CD.
- Familiarity with Spark and PySpark.
- Experience with distributed systems and microservices architectures.
- Exposure to telecommunications, financial services or other large enterprise environments.
