Sr. Java Engineer

A leading technology services organization in Texas is seeking a Sr. Java Engineer in Fort Worth to focus on building and supporting scalable, reliable software solutions with an emphasis on Java-based development, distributed systems, and cloud-enabled architecture., * Design, develop, test, and document technical solutions in alignment with engineering standards * Build and enhance components and libraries that support scalable, high-impact applications * Perform root cause analysis and help define corrective actions for systemic issues * Collaborate on system design decisions with a focus on reliability, durability, and performance * Partner with engineering and security teams to improve code quality, reuse, and technical practices

2 to 5 years of experience in Software Development or Engineering * Bachelor’s degree in computer science, electronics, engineering, or a related field * Experience with Java * Experience with Kafka * Experience with MongoDB * Experience with multi-cloud environments * Working knowledge of Kubernetes and Azure, Experience with object-oriented analysis and design, UML, test-driven development, and Java design patterns * Familiarity with enterprise integration design patterns and disaster recovery design * Experience working in Agile, Scrum, Kanban, or XP environments
