- Lead, mentor, and inspire a cross-location team to deliver transportation projects aligned with the firm’s mission and values
- Oversee project execution from planning and safety analysis through delivery, ensuring quality, timeliness, and budget adherence
- Serve as a primary client contact, building trusted relationships and delivering exceptional service to both public and private sector clients
- Manage project budgets, staffing, scheduling, and financials, proactively addressing challenges
- Guide design strategy and collaborate with internal teams, clients, and external partners
- Prepare compelling proposals, lead client interviews, and advance new business opportunities
- Support complex public processes, municipal approvals, and industry engagement to strengthen firm visibility
Requirements
Do you have a valid Professional Engineer license?, Do you have experience in Team development?, Do you have a Bachelor’s degree?, * B.S. degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Professional Engineering License (PE) required
- 15+ years of experience in transportation, roadway, or highway engineering
- Minimum 5 years of project management experience
- Proven success in client relationship management and business development within the transportation sector
- Familiarity with PennDOT or PTC design standards
- Proficiency in MS Office; experience with MicroStation preferred
- Demonstrated leadership, team management, and mentorship abilities
- Strong financial acumen and ability to utilize dashboards, metrics, and data for decision-making
Preferred Background & Skills
- Master’s degree in Civil Engineering
- Experience with MicroStation and transportation design software
- Deep knowledge of municipal approvals and public process navigation
- Experience across Harrisburg, Philadelphia, and Allentown transportation markets
