System Engineer

Infrastructure Design & Implementation

• Architect and deploy network solutions using Cisco Meraki firewalls, switches, access points, and VPNs.
• Configure and optimize network segmentation, VLANs, routing, and security policies.
• Lead migrations, upgrades, and rollouts involving Intune, Azure AD, and Microsoft 365 environments.
• Implement and manage conditional access, compliance policies, and endpoint configuration profiles through Microsoft Intune.
• Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to design scalable and secure client environments.

Advanced Troubleshooting & Escalation

• Serve as an escalation for complex networking, security, and endpoint issues.
• Perform root cause analysis for recurring or critical incidents.
• Work closely with the team to provide guidance and ensure knowledge transfer.
• Utilize monitoring platforms (e.g., Articwolf, Huntress, Cisco Meraki Dashboard) to proactively identify and resolve issues.

Security & Compliance

• Enforce and maintain client compliance with cybersecurity frameworks and company policies.
• Ensure all networking and endpoint configurations adhere to best practices.
• Assist in incident response and post-mortem reviews related to network or endpoint breaches.

Client Communication & Documentation

• Interface directly with client to communicate project scopes, timelines, and status updates.
• Document infrastructure designs, network diagrams, and standard operating procedures in IT Glue or equivalent documentation systems.
• Participate in client technology reviews and make recommendations for system improvements.

• Minimum of 3+ years of experience in IT infrastructure or MSP environment.
• Proven expertise in Cisco Meraki ecosystem (MX, MS, MR, Systems Manager).
• Strong background managing Microsoft Intune, Azure AD, and Microsoft 365 enterprise environments.
• Experience with server virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V), firewalls, and security compliance frameworks.

Technical Skills

• Deep understanding of networking fundamentals: VLANs, routing, NAT, DHCP, DNS, VPNs, and QoS.
• Familiarity with Conditional Access, Autopilot, and Endpoint Security Baselines.
• Experience with Huntress, Proofpoint, Cisco Umbrella, or similar security tools a plus.
• Ability to integrate network, identity, and endpoint layers into unified management strategies.

Certifications (Preferred)

• Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) (preferred)
• Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate or Intune Administrator Expert
• CompTIA Network+ or Security+
• Relevant VMware, Azure, or cybersecurity certifications considered a plus

• Full Time onsite support
• On Call Weekend Support with a rotating weekend schedule
• Must be able to travel to client locations when required
• May participate in after-hours maintenance or escalation rotations

Pay: $85,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year, * 401(k)
