Senior Cloud Data Engineer (GCP, Linux, Terraform) - Remote

We are seeking a Senior Cloud Data Engineer to support a large-scale cloud infrastructure and enterprise data transfer environment. This role will focus on cloud platform administration, automation, Linux systems, networking, security, and managed file transfer technologies supporting mission-critical data movement operations.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on engineer who enjoys solving complex infrastructure challenges, automating processes, and working within modern cloud environments., * Support and maintain enterprise cloud infrastructure environments

• Administer and troubleshoot Linux-based systems
• Configure and support managed file transfer platforms and secure data movement workflows
• Implement automation using scripting and Infrastructure as Code
• Manage identity, access, and security controls
• Monitor platform performance, reliability, and operational health
• Troubleshoot networking, connectivity, and performance issues
• Develop operational documentation, runbooks, and support procedures
• Collaborate with engineering, security, infrastructure, and business stakeholders
• Support production environments and ongoing platform improvements

• Candidates must have relevant experience within the past 4 months., * 3+ years of experience working within Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Strong Linux systems administration experience
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred)
• Experience with Python, Bash, or PowerShell scripting
• Experience supporting cloud networking, IAM, RBAC, and security controls
• Experience with Managed File Transfer (MFT) platforms such as Globus, CLEO, Signiant, or similar technologies
• Experience supporting large-scale data transfer workflows and secure file movement
• Strong troubleshooting and operational support experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred, * Identity Governance and Access Management
• Entra ID (Azure AD), SSO, and Federation
• Azure DevOps (ADO)
• Kubernetes and Docker
• Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or similar monitoring platforms
• Experience in healthcare, research, academic, or regulated environments
• HIPAA, NIST, or security compliance experience
