Infrastructure Engineer

A key requirement of this role is to deliver technical service in a dynamic ITIL environment as well as incorporating Agile change delivery. Your Role and Responsibilities;Demonstrable experience of Windows Server based infrastructure at an enterprise levelDemonstrable experience of RedHat Linux OS based infrastructure as well as general Linux support skillsExperienced in the management and maintenance of VMWare based virtualised estatesDeployment and support experience of Hyper Converged Infrastructure.Management and troubleshooting of storage technologies including NetApp & DellManagement and troubleshooting of Active Directory within an on premise environmentDevelopment of a customer desktop build with a number of bespoke/legacy applicationsPackaging and deployment of applicationsRequired Skills:Experience of Microsoft Exchange management & support from 2013 onwardsExperience of MS SQL Server and SQL Database ClusteringExperience of Veeam Backup technologyExperience of Ivanti Device & Application Control implementationExperience of patch management including analysis and deploymentExcellent communications and organisational skills as well as the ability to work independently as well as in a teamExperience in ITIL ICT service delivery and SAFE Agile delivery of critical infrastructureExperience of working under pressure to meet deadlines while handling multiple prioritiesUnderstanding of the importance of stakeholder management and organisational acumenDemonstrable ability to adapt to new technologies, skillsets and to learn quicklyWorked in a business or safety critical environment previouslyDesirable Skills:Expose or experience of working with F5 Load Balancing technologyExperience of build, test and ongoing management of a VDI solution using VMWare HorizonClearance Requirements: Clearance to Start BPSSClearance for Role SCYou must be willing to undergo SC or DV clearance dependent upon the security requirements for the roleAre you ready to make an impact?
