Job description
We’re looking for a hands-on IT hardware and data center technician to support our infrastructure at our Ashburn facilities (21551 Beaumeade Circle, Ashburn).
What the work involves:
Occasional on-site visits to assist with physical server tasks, including rack mounting, RAM and HDD/SSD swaps, and IPMI resets. Work is demand driven, usually totalling between 10-40 hours a month.

This is a fully flexible arrangement - you choose when you’re available, whether that’s weekdays, evenings, or weekends. We’ll reach out when we need support, and you let us know when you can come in. No fixed schedule, no minimums beyond the monthly scope.
Requirements
Do you have experience in POS systems?, * Hands-on experience with server hardware (rack installation, component replacement)
- Familiarity with data center environments and procedures
- Reliable and responsive communication
- Based in or near Ashburn, VA, * data center: 1 year (Preferred)
Benefits & conditions
$50 an hour - Part-time, Contract, Compensation: $50/hour
This is a contractor role, ideal for someone already working in or around data centers looking for a straightforward, flexible side engagement.
