Job description
- Install, rack, and maintain physical servers and related hardware
- Perform BIOS configuration and hardware troubleshooting
- Handle Linux system tasks independently (Ubuntu preferred)
- Respond to incidents and outages (on-call support)
- Make on-site decisions and collaborate with remote engineering teams
Requirements
This is a hands-on position for an experienced specialist ready to work independently in a production environment. You’ll work directly with physical servers, make informed decisions on the ground, collaborate with remote engineering teams, and play a key role in keeping our infrastructure running., * Solid experience with server hardware and troubleshooting
- Proficiency with Linux systems (Ubuntu preferred).
- Understanding of data centre operations: power, cooling, cabling
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of issues
- Ability to work on-site in Ashburn, VA
- Availability for on-call support
