Cloud/DevOps Engineer - III

Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for a Cloud/DevOps Engineer - III for a contract assignment with one of our premier Financial Services clients in San Francisco, CA ., We’re seeking a hands-on Senior DevOps Engineer for a contract position to build and maintain secure, resilient CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation for our SaaS Identity Governance platform.

• Design, implement, and maintain secure, resilient CI/CD pipelines to automate build, testing, deployment, and release processes
• Write automation scripts and tools for deployment workflows
• Integrate automated security and compliance scanning into CI/CD pipelines
• Work closely with engineering and security teams on deployment automation
• Collaborate with product teams to identify and prioritize automation work for upcoming releases

• 10+ years of hands on DevOps/Cloud engineering experience
• Strong hands-on experience with:
• CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or similar)
• Production experience with IaC
• Docker and containerized workflows
• At least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform)
• SaaS/multi-tenant platforms
• API integrations at scale
• Scripting (Python, Bash, or PowerShell)
• Integrating multiple third-party platforms and services
• Strong troubleshooting skills

Preferred Skills :

• Hands on experience with:
• Master’s Computer Science preferred
• API testing and integration patterns
• Building and integrating APIs for platform connectivity and automation
• Disaster recovery planning and testing
• Monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog, or similar)
• Certifications: AWS/Azure/Google Cloud Platform Professional, CKA, Terraform Associate
