Principal Software Engineer- Hybrid

• Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and enhance software solutions
• Provide technical leadership on high-impact projects
• Facilitate alignment and clarity on goals, outcomes, and timelines
• Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements
• Work closely with the Chief Engineer to design feature specifications and build products
• Conduct design and code reviews
• Work on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors
• Demonstrate good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions
• Complete medium to large features independently without mandatory guidance
• Identify and drive changes as needed for assigned codebase, product area, or systems

Envision is seeking a motivated, career, and customer-oriented Principal Software Engineer to join their team at Annapolis Junction, Maryland. This is a Hybrid position., * Twenty (20) or more years of experience with the following web application and/or front-end languages and technologies plus a Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university, or 4 years additional experience might be substituted for a degree.

The projected compensation range for this position is $215,000.00-$250,000.00. Factors that can impact a final salary include Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications, and Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
