Mainframe Production Support Engineer

• Monitor and support mainframe batch jobs to ensure successful execution.
• Perform regular batch monitoring, job status checks, and troubleshooting.
• Conduct database record checks and validate data accuracy.
• Perform terminal checks and operational support using IBM 3270 terminals.
• Monitor daily mainframe production activities and identify job failures.
• Troubleshoot batch processing issues and escalate critical incidents when necessary.
• Support production operations and ensure timely resolution of issues.
• Maintain operational documentation and provide regular status updates.
