Job description
AV is looking for a highly talented Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) Systems Engineer to join our team! In this role you will provide senior technical and advisory assistance to the Targets Program Office (MDA/DTE) by aiding in the refinement and implementation of MBSE design standards across a portfolio of products., * Serve as designer for implementation of the Government Reference Architecture MBSE solution across the Targets Program office
- Author process documents, develop template frameworks, and construct metric reporting methods to facilitate the execution of the MBSE solution to existing and future programs
- Use requirements analysis to create and maintain the (GRA) in Cameo
- Perform and lead systems engineering duties to elicit stakeholder requirements and mission needs
- Perform functional analysis using Model-based Systems Engineering techniques and tools
- Define requirements, perform functional analysis using Model-based Systems Engineering techniques and tools
- Assist in requirements development and management
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with 7+ years of working on missile defense-related or other DoD programs/projects
- Experience with Cameo Systems Modeler
- Active Secret Clearance
- Knowledge of Model-Based System Engineering (MBSE), preferably with direct experience working DoD Systems
- Ability to train others on MBSE concepts and tools
- Experience with languages used for architecture modeling (i.e. DoD Architecture Framework and (Unified Architecture Framework (UAF))
Desired:
- Familiarity with MDA programs and processes
- Experience with missiles, targets, missile defense systems or hypersonic weapons
- Hands-on experience with integrated requirements tools, such as DOORs NG
- Exposure to MDA test events and activities
