Job description

We are seeking a Director of Data Centre Operations to lead the physical infrastructure that powers mission-critical AI environments. This role will oversee data centre facilities, critical power and cooling systems, commissioning, operational readiness, and site reliability across multiple locations., * Lead data centre facilities operations across multiple sites

  • Oversee critical infrastructure including power distribution, UPS systems, generators, cooling plants, and mechanical systems
  • Support new facility development, commissioning, and construction handovers
  • Drive uptime, reliability, and operational performance aligned with Tier standards
  • Manage capacity planning and infrastructure scaling initiatives
  • Build and lead high-performing facilities operations teams
  • Partner closely with engineering, construction, and infrastructure teams

Requirements

Do you have experience in Working on construction projects?, * 8+ years of experience in data centre facilities or critical infrastructure operations

  • 4+ years of leadership experience managing teams and large-scale facilities
  • Strong knowledge of Tier III/Tier IV data centre environments
  • Experience with commissioning, construction handovers, and operational readiness
  • Expertise in power, cooling, UPS, generators, and mission-critical infrastructure
  • Experience supporting hyperscale, colocation, AI, HPC, or cloud environments
  • Ability to operate effectively in both construction and live production environments

Preferred Experience

  • Experience supporting GPU clusters, AI infrastructure, or HPC environments
  • Knowledge of liquid cooling and high-density deployments
  • Uptime Institute or related Tier certification
  • Experience in a high-growth or scale-up environment
