Job description

They are seeking an experienced Senior Design & Development Manager to report into the VP of Project Development & Delivery. This is a high-impact role focused on site origination, campus master planning, and front-end engineering-turning early-stage opportunities into build-ready projects.

The successful candidate will lead campus-level design strategy, guide technical direction, and ensure projects align with business standards, scalability goals, and operational performance expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead site master planning and conceptual design for new data centre campuses

  • Drive front-end engineering to ensure designs are scalable, buildable, and operationally efficient

  • Translate development opportunities into technically robust, execution-ready plans

  • Partner with development, engineering, innovation, and construction teams

  • Manage external architectural and engineering consultants from concept through detailed design

  • Ensure alignment with internal design standards, codes, and regulatory requirements

  • Support due diligence, feasibility studies, and design standardisation initiatives

  • Facilitate a smooth handover from development into delivery

Requirements

Do you have experience in Management?, * Approx. 10+ years’ experience in data centres, mission-critical environments, or large-scale infrastructure design/development

  • Background in engineering, architecture, or related discipline

  • Experience with campus master planning and front-end design

  • Strong understanding of data centre systems, constructability, and design standards

  • Proven ability to manage consultants and cross-functional stakeholders

  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-growth environment

  • Strong communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills

  • Proficient with AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, or similar tools
