Job description

  • Provide engineering, administration, and operational support for the Lenel OnGuard access control and video management platform
  • Configure and maintain cardholder management, badge access, alarms, hardware integrations, and system workflows
  • Support system upgrades, patches, migrations, and platform lifecycle activities
  • Troubleshoot application, server, database, and hardware-related issues across distributed environments
  • Coordinate with infrastructure, network, cybersecurity, and facilities teams to ensure secure and reliable system operations
  • Support integrations with Active Directory, HR systems, video surveillance systems, and third-party security platforms
  • Monitor system health, performance, and availability; proactively identify and remediate issues
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and operational runbooks
  • Assist with incident response, root cause analysis, and problem management activities
  • Participate in after-hours support, maintenance windows, and on-call rotations as needed
  • Ensure compliance with utility industry security standards, policies, and regulatory requirements
  • Provide end-user and operational support for physical security applications and related technologies

Travel may be required for this role. The amount of travel will vary from 0 to 100% depending on business need and client requirements.

Requirements

You have the experience to analyze a clients’ security posture, anticipate security requirements and help find right-sized solutions based on industry leading practices. You have a proven track record working successfully in a fast-paced, agile environment., The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in Lenel OnGuard, physical access control systems, and enterprise application support within highly regulated or critical infrastructure environments., * Minimum of years of experience supporting engineering Lenel OnGuard environments

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience and strong knowledge of:
  • Lenel OnGuard architecture and administration
  • Access control systems and physical security technologies
  • Windows Server administration
  • Microsoft SQL Server
  • Active Directory integration
  • Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls, ports)
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience supporting enterprise-scale or multi-site deployments
  • Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with system upgrades, troubleshooting, and integrations
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience. (If Associate’s Degree, must have minimum 6 years work experience

Professional Skills Requirements

  • Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills
  • Ability to work independently in client-facing consulting environments

  • Lenel certification(s) preferred
  • Experience within:
  • Utilities
  • Critical infrastructure
  • Energy sector
  • Industrial or OT environments
  • Familiarity with:
  • Video management systems (VMS)
  • Cybersecurity best practices
  • NERC CIP or other regulated industry standards
  • PACS hardware and controller configurations
  • Experience with scripting or automation is a plus
