Lead Fiber Optic Technician - Data Center Infrastructure

We’re partnering with a rapidly growing company in the data center and mission-critical construction industry that is building a long-term telecommunications team in Spartanburg, SC.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Install, terminate, test, and troubleshoot fiber optic cabling
• Read cable run lists and pull plans
• Install backbone and trunk fiber systems
• Support large-scale data center and mission-critical infrastructure projects
• Work closely with field engineers and project leadership
• Utilize construction management tools such as Procore and PlanGrid
• Maintain quality, safety, and production standards

Do you have experience in Telecommunications low voltage systems?, * 7+ years of fiber optic, structured cabling, telecommunications, or low-voltage experience

• Experience reading cable schedules and construction drawings
• Strong understanding of fiber installation and testing
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Experience in data centers, telecom, broadband, or mission-critical environments is highly preferred

Preferred:

• BICSI Certification
• FOA Certification
• Procore Experience
• PlanGrid Experience
