Job description

The essential functions below are not intended to be an exhaustive list of all duties that may be assigned to this position, nor does it restrict the duties which may be assigned to this position if such duties reasonably relate to the position.

  • Responsible for the creation, documentation, and support of reports from Allscripts and other reporting databases. Work closely with customers to gather report requirements and ensure report development, testing and implementation meet user specifications and operational needs. Perform report validation with assistance of clinical analysts. Maintain document specifications for reports that are created and/or modified.
  • Responsible for system upgrades to ensure reporting databases are compliant with operational and regulatory needs. Coordinate with vendors and internal IT resources to perform testing, validation and implementation of any updates/upgrades to any reporting application.
  • Responsible for monitoring of the reporting application, report distributions and any associated file share to ensure timely and consistent reporting. Work with vendors and technical resources for any issue resolution.

Requirements

Do you have experience in IT experience within healthcare?, Do you have a Bachelor’s degree?, * Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of Education and Experience.

  • (5) years relevant experience in a challenging Information Technology, Business or related environment.
  • Extensive exceptional experience in related arena also considered. Experience developing operational and/or analytical reports in a Healthcare Environment.
  • Experience with Allscripts CPMits interdependencies on Allscripts SCM.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking ability.
  • Must be able to assertively address conflict with confidence, poise, and tact.
  • Must be goal-driven with the ability to excel under pressure.
  • Must demonstrate outstanding problem-solving skills.
  • Thorough knowledge of general acute care and IT practices and procedures, business English, and intermediate mathematical concepts.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work well independently.
  • Strong analytical skills, creative conceptualization, and organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle detailed work accurately and quickly, work to deadlines on multiple projects, and work as a team member in a collaborative and participative manner.
  • Ability to respond to top level management inquiries and assemble highly confidential/sensitive information.
  • Ability and willingness to learn new technologies, practices, and procedures. Well established computer skills.
  • Must be highly motivated, results oriented and organized.
  • Must be able to interface with all levels of management perform in a high-pressure environment.
  • Must possess excellent people skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with little direction.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with report development software packages such as Crystal Reports preferred.
