Job description

  • Maintain and support Charge Description Master (CDM) processes and updates.
  • Analyze healthcare billing, coding, and reimbursement data to ensure compliance and revenue integrity.
  • Collaborate with finance, revenue cycle, and clinical departments to optimize charge capture and billing workflows.
  • Review and audit charges to ensure accurate CPT/HCPCS coding, revenue code assignment, and reimbursement alignment.
  • Support system enhancements, troubleshooting, and maintenance related to healthcare financial systems.
  • Utilize EPIC and Craneware applications for CDM management, reporting, and revenue cycle optimization.
  • Monitor regulatory and reimbursement changes impacting billing and coding practices.
  • Prepare reports, conduct data analysis, and provide recommendations for process improvements.

Requirements

Do you have experience in IT experience within healthcare?, Do you have a Bachelor’s degree?, We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Information Technology Analyst to support healthcare finance and revenue cycle operations in a remote environment. This role is ideal for a professional with strong experience in Charge Description Master (CDM) maintenance, healthcare coding, reimbursement systems, and revenue integrity. The ideal candidate will possess advanced knowledge of EPIC and Craneware systems and have the ability to optimize billing accuracy and compliance within a complex healthcare environment., * Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare, Information Technology, Business, or related field required; equivalent experience may be considered.

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in healthcare finance, revenue cycle, or CDM maintenance.
  • 7 years of related experience may substitute for degree requirement.
  • Coding certification required: CPC, CCS, or equivalent.
  • Strong experience with EPIC and Craneware systems - Required.
  • In-depth knowledge of:
  • CPT/HCPCS coding
  • Revenue codes
  • Billing systems and workflows
  • Charge auditing practices
  • Reimbursement methodologies including IPPS and OPPS

Preferred Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment while managing multiple priorities., * Do you have In depth knowledge of CPT/HCPCS coding

Experience:

License/Certification:

  • Coding certification CPC, CCS, or equivalent (Required)
  • Bachelor in Healthcare, IT, Business, or related field (Required)
