Programmer

Are you a detail-oriented CAD/CAM professional with a passion for precision and craftsmanship? Join Sims-Lohman, a leader in custom countertop fabrication and installation, as a Programmer. We’re looking for motivated individuals to support our operations by transforming digital templates into cutting programs that drive our production of high-quality stone products. What You’ll Do:

• Convert LT55 laser camera templates into production-ready drawings using AlphaCAM.
• Review job orders in Moraware for completeness and coordinate with account managers or techs to gather missing information.
• Generate final CAD drawings, PDFs, and CNC cut programs for shop production.
• Ensure accurate placement of seam locations, sink and cooktop cutouts, and backsplash details.
• Upload finalized documents to internal systems (Moraware and Dropbox).

Do you have experience in Technical Proficiency?, * 1+ years of experience with AlphaCAM or AutoCAD in a manufacturing or industrial environment.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel in particular), AutoCAD, AlphaCAM, and business IT systems.
• Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills.
• A collaborative mindset and the ability to coordinate with production and technical teams.

Work Environment:

• Office, warehouse, and fabrication shop settings.
• Occasional exposure to loud noise and varied temperatures.
• No travel required.
