Active Directory Engineer

The Active Directory senior engineer is responsible for implementing and maintaining enterprise-level Active Directory (AD) environments. This role ensures secure, scalable, and compliant identity and access management across the organization by consulting on complex initiatives and resolving multifaceted security engineering challenges., * Deploy and manage Active Directory infrastructure, including domain controllers, group policies, and organizational units

• Deploy and manage 14 applications supporting Active Directory
• Update software and configurations to address vulnerabilities
• Lead troubleshooting and resolution of complex AD issues, including authentication, replication, and access control
• Develop, update and enforce security standards for AD, including privileged access management and audit logging
• Collaborate with IT, cybersecurity, and application teams to integrate AD with enterprise systems and cloud platforms
• Maintain documentation and provide technical guidance for AD operations and best practices
• Participate in compliance reviews and risk assessments related to identity and access management
• Manage workload in Jira using Agile principles

• 5+ years of Information Security Engineering or Active Directory Engineering experience
• Extensive experience with Active Directory administration in large enterprise environments
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Group Policy, DNS, and related technologies
• Proven ability to design and implement secure AD architectures
• Experience with automation tools and scripting (PowerShell preferred)
• Familiarity with IAM frameworks, privileged access management, and compliance requirements
• Experience with Domain Controller Virtualization, building, management, and administration
• Experience using Jira and working in an Agile environment

Desired skills:

• Experience with Azure AD, hybrid identity solutions, and cloud integrations
• Experience with Microsoft HyperV Management
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership
