Director of Information Technology

Metal Capital is seeking a Director of Information Technology to lead and coordinate technology initiatives across our two divisions, Metal Wholesale and Coil Spot. This role serves as the bridge between business operations, internal IT teams, and external vendors to ensure our ERP, dashboards, Microsoft 365 tools, and emerging AI platforms deliver measurable business value.

This role will help lead Metal Capital’s digital transformation strategy, including the development of connected manufacturing systems, real-time dashboards, and digital twin capabilities that integrate ERP, machine, and business data to enable smarter decisions and support our factory-of-the-future vision., · Lead ERP and technology project coordination, including vendor management and timeline tracking

· Drive adoption of dashboards and business intelligence tools across plants and departments

· Coordinate AI and data integration initiatives

· Support Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, and collaboration platform rollout

· Coordinate interoperability between ERP systems, manufacturing equipment, PLCs, sensors, and machine-generated data.

· Lead factory-of-the-future initiatives involving automation, data integration, and advanced analytics.

Do you have experience in Team leadership?, Do you have a Bachelor’s degree?, · Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field

· 3+ years of IT project management, business analysis, or technology leadership experience

· Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

· Experience integrating information systems with manufacturing equipment and machine-generated data (e.g., ERP, MES, PLC, and production data interfaces)

· Experience with ERP systems and Microsoft 365

· Manufacturing or distribution experience preferred, * Bachelor’s (Preferred)

Experience:

• IT proj management, business analysis, or tech leadership: 3 years (Preferred)
