Job description

We are seeking a world-class Program Architect to serve as the single point of accountability for architecture across a large-scale, mission-critical ADMS transformation program in the electric utility sector. This is a high-visibility leadership role at the intersection of grid operations, real-time systems, and enterprise transformation. You will own the end-to-end architecture strategy and ensure successful delivery of measurable business outcomes — improved grid reliability, reduced outages, enhanced resilience, and operational scalability., * Own the target state, transition states, and execution architecture roadmap for the entire ADMS program

  • Act as the final decision authority on all program-level architectural trade-offs
  • Translate enterprise strategy into actionable, enforceable program architecture while challenging vendor roadmaps
  • Lead architectural governance across multiple system integrators, vendors, and platforms
  • Design robust integration, real-time, event-driven, and high-availability architectures spanning SCADA, OMS, DMS, and enterprise systems
  • Mitigate systemic architectural risks and lead recovery efforts for at-risk program components
  • Ensure architecture is production-ready with strong focus on resilience, observability, and operational excellence

Requirements

  • 15+ years in architecture & technical leadership roles
  • 15+ years of deep experience in the Electrical Utility / Energy domain
  • Proven leadership of large-scale transformation programs ($50M – $200M+)
  • Strong experience in mission-critical control room / real-time systems environments
  • Hands-on experience with AspenTech OSI ADMS (or equivalent) — mandatory
  • Full lifecycle experience in at least one major ADMS implementation (design through deployment & stabilization)

Technical Expertise: Deep knowledge of OMS, DMS, and SCADA operations Real-time systems, low-latency data processing, and telemetry architectures Event-driven & streaming architectures High-availability, fault-tolerant design for mission-critical systems Strong integration architecture experience across IT/OT boundaries
