Job description

  • Design, develop, and maintain C# applications for stage and motion control systems used in semiconductor metrology equipment.

  • Implement and optimize stage calibration, axis mapping, tip-tilt correction, and motion algorithms to achieve precision system performance.

  • Integrate software with motion controllers, cameras, encoders, and robotic subsystems.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to hardware communication, real-time control, and system synchronization.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including hardware, mechanical, and systems engineers to ensure seamless equipment functionality.

Our client, a leader in advanced manufacturing technology, is seeking a Software Engineer Semiconductor to join their team. As a Software Engineer Semiconductor you will be part of the Engineering Department supporting innovative hardware and software integration projects. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization., + 5+ years of hands-on experience in software development using C# in an engineering or equipment control environment.

  • Proven expertise in motion control systems, hardware integration, and equipment automation.

  • Experience with motion controller systems such as ETEL (preferred) or ACS

  • Strong understanding of semiconductor or metrology tool operation and stage motion control.

  • Proficiency in debugging, code optimization, and hardware communication interfaces.
