IT Field Service Technician - Emmetsburg/Sioux Rapids/Storm Lake

Do you have experience in Voltage testers?, Iowa Select Farms is seeking a dedicated and hands-on IT Field Service Technician to join our team in the Western Iowa area! This is a full-time, in-person role that includes regular travel to our production sites across the region.

In this position, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting alarm and low-voltage systems, internet communications, and other on-farm technologies that support our daily operations. You’ll work closely with office IT staff and production teams to ensure these systems are operating efficiently, safely, and reliably at all times.

This role requires at least 2 years of related experience, along with knowledge of low-voltage systems, digital multimeters, basic electrical components, and network devices such as cameras, modems, switches, routers, and UPS systems. Experience with GPS fleet tracking units is a plus. Candidates should demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, effective communication, solid time-management, and the ability to collaborate with both field technicians and on-site personnel. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word is required, and willingness to train on underground wiring locators and trenchers is preferred., * Low Voltage systems: 2 years (Required)
