Job description

Microsoft 365 Administration

  • Monitor M365 service health, manage change activities, and service requests
  • Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 support for M365 cloud issues

Identity & Access Management

  • Administer Microsoft Entra ID including users, groups, and roles
  • Assist senior IT team members with managing RBAC policies to enforce least-privilege access
  • Assist senior IT team members with configuration and maintenance of MFA, Conditional Access, and SSO integrations

Security & Compliance

  • Monitor security alerts and respond to incidents in M365
  • Conduct regular security audits to identify and remediate vulnerabilities

Process Improvement, Automation, & Scripting

  • Familiar with CLI and PowerShell to automate M365 resources
  • Contribute to overall service stability and continuous improvement of cloud platforms
  • Identify process automation opportunities to reduce errors and minimize repetitive operational work.
  • Maintain a library of reusable scripts, runbooks, and templates
  • Work closely with Technical Support to improve ticket quality, escalation accuracy, and knowledge transfer between teams

Third-Party Application & Vendor Coordination

  • Coordinate with team members and vendors for escalations, updates, and integration requirements

Training, Communication & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Communicate effectively with legal, administrative, and business staff to understand needs and translate them into technical solutions
  • Perform additional duties and tasks assigned, demonstrating flexibility, and a commitment to supporting the firm’s overall objectives, Professional office atmosphere. Sedentary work that primarily involves sitting or standing for prolonged periods. Position may require occasional off-hour meetings and events.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Windows?, Do you have a Bachelor’s degree?, The Cloud Administrator is the primary administrator for the firm’s Microsoft Office 365 SaaS platform along with supporting other cloud portals such as Adobe DC and client collaboration portals. This person is responsible for all facets of Office 365 application deployment and maintenance. The desired candidate must be able to communicate effectively with business, legal, administrative, and technical colleagues as well as manage multiple priorities., Communication: Understands the importance of and demonstrates verbal, written, and non-verbal communications.

Customer/Client Experience: Creates a consistent and exceptional experience for others, whether directly to external clients/customers or indirectly through internal support, that elevates the overall perception of the firm.

Organization & Planning: Proactively takes actions, finds solutions, and displays skills to be efficient and productive.

Team Player: Works within team and cross-functionally to meet required results., * Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering; or relevant work experience

  • One year IT cloud operations work experience, with an emphasis in MS Azure cloud administration
  • Demonstrated ability with Microsoft 365 SaaS administration and technologies
  • Demonstrated ability with Microsoft Entra ID and Exchange Online
  • Willingness to learn and provide hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services including computer, networking, storage, and identity management
  • Proven user of PowerShell, Microsoft Graph API, and scripting languages, in use cases supporting Microsoft 365 and Azure in a production environment
  • Experience implementing and managing cloud security controls including Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Conditional Access, RBAC, and MFA
  • Proven knowledge of the Windows Operating System
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Office 2019+ productivity software
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Microsoft certifications such as MS-102, AZ-104, or SC-300 are a plus
  • Demonstrated excellence in organizational abilities, ability to prioritize and follow up on open issues, and projects with a sense of urgency
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the business including peers, technical management, and/or external vendors

Physical Requirements:

While performing the duties of this position, the employee must have the ability to sit, stand and/or walk for extended periods of time; manipulate (lift, carry, move) weights of at least ten (10) pounds; have repetitive wrist/hand/finger movement to work on a computer and/or related office equipment; speak clearly and concisely so listeners can understand; and regularly understand the speech of another person.

A discretionary bonus may be available based upon performance. The Colorado salary range is $64,236.42 - $107,060.71 annual salary.
