- Serve as the Product Owner within a Scrum team, managing backlog prioritization, user stories, sprint objectives, and acceptance criteria.
- Leads and owns release planning activities, including defining release scope, timelines, and coordination across technology and business teams.
- Oversee release delivery, ensuring readiness, communication, and alignment with development schedules and quality standards.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers to ensure user-friendly and efficient product interfaces.
- Partner with clinical, data, and technology teams to deliver population health and value-based care capabilities that improve quality, cost, and outcomes.
- Lead and participate in all Agile ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, PI planning, retrospectives).
- Maintain clear, professional, and collaborative communication across all levels of the organization.
- Stay informed of industry trends, regulatory changes, and innovations within population health and value-based contracting.
- Author release notes and participate in demos, and field training as needed and ensure clients are excited and well-informed of upcoming changes.
Requirements
Do you have experience in System development product management?, Do you have a Bachelor’s degree?, We are seeking an experienced Product Owner with a strong background in Population Health and Value-Based Care to lead product strategy, development, and delivery within an Agile/Scrum environment. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of healthcare delivery transformation and hands-on experience collaborating with UI/UX design to ensure intuitive, user-centered solutions. The successful candidate will demonstrate a balanced, professional communication style-someone who can drive outcomes, lead discussions, and manage competing priorities without aggression or confrontation, maintaining a respectful and collaborative tone across diverse teams.
This role required a highly organized, analytical, and collaborative professional who can partner effectively across technology, clinical, and business teams to deliver high-impact solutions aligned with organizational goals., * Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager in Population Health or Value-Based Care settings.
- Proven experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Strong understanding of release planning, release management, and product delivery.
- Demonstrated collaboration with UI/UX design teams to deliver intuitive user experiences.
- Knowledge of care coordination, risk adjustment, and value-based reimbursement models.
- Proficiency in Jira, Confluence, and design tools such as Figma, Miro or similar.
- Excellent analytical, organizational and communication skills.
- Must be able to work between the hours of 6:00am-2:30pm est. to accommodate global teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager certification,
- Experience with healthcare data integration, interoperability, and analytics platforms.
- Familiarity with usability testing and iterative product design.
