SAP Business Objects Developer

The SAP Business Intelligence Consultant supports enterprise reporting and analytics initiatives within a large-scale SAP environment. This role focuses on designing and developing Business Objects reports, dashboards, and data models, while optimizing data structures and ensuring high-quality data delivery. The position works closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to deliver scalable, efficient, and user-friendly reporting solutions., Business Intelligence & Reporting Development

• Design, develop, and maintain complex Business Objects reports, dashboards, and queries
• Build reporting solutions using Web Intelligence, Crystal Reports, and related tools
• Translate business and technical requirements into analytical solutions
• Deliver scalable and high-quality reporting applications across SAP environments

SAP & Data Integration Support

• Develop reporting solutions within SAP modules including finance, HR, payroll, and treasury
• Support integration of data across Business Warehouse and Business Objects environments
• Assist with data extraction, modeling, and transformation for reporting needs
• Work with stakeholders to improve data accuracy, consistency, and availability

Tableau & Advanced Analytics

• Design and maintain interactive Tableau dashboards and reports
• Manage Tableau environments including publishing, security, and access control
• Support enterprise analytics initiatives using modern visualization tools

Data Optimization & ETL Development

• Perform optimization of Business Objects universes and data structures
• Improve performance, efficiency, and scalability of reporting processes
• Develop and maintain ETL workflows using tools such as SSIS and cloud-based platforms
• Support data warehousing and dimensional modeling best practices

Documentation & Knowledge Transfer

• Create and maintain detailed technical documentation including data dictionaries and reporting logic
• Provide training and knowledge transfer sessions for business and IT users
• Support users in accessing, analyzing, and distributing data across reporting tools

Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement

• Work with state agencies, business users, and technical teams to define reporting requirements
• Present prototypes and recommend improvements to legacy reporting solutions
• Collaborate with leadership to ensure alignment with standards and best practices

Do you have experience in Technical solutions implementation?, Do you have a Bachelor’s degree?, * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

• 5 or more years of experience with SAP Business Objects architecture and reporting tools
• 5 or more years of experience designing and developing business intelligence solutions in SAP environments
• 5 or more years of experience developing complex reports and dashboards using Web Intelligence and Crystal Reports
• 5 or more years of experience with Tableau administration and dashboard development
• 3 or more years of experience working in public sector environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SCEIS or similar statewide ERP systems
• Experience with Microsoft SSIS for ETL and data integration
