Legal Technology Specialist

We are seeking a Legal Technology Specialist for a full-time, in-office role at our Oregon City, OR office. This position is highly dynamic, ever-changing, and perfect for a tech-savvy self-starter who thrives on managing a high volume of projects simultaneously. You will work in a collaborative, small-office environment, reporting directly to two senior managers.

The core of this role involves managing our proprietary tablet program and executing high-volume discovery file processing. You must be comfortable adapting to new workflows, learning complex automation tools, and pivoting quickly as office needs arise.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the lifecycle of our proprietary hardware, including provisioning new tablets, updating software, and processing/recycling returned devices.
• Handle high-volume pre- and post-processing of discovery files using specialized software.
• Run batch file automations, conversions, and data management tasks.
• Draft professional cover letters and manage secure shipping/mailing logistics for tablet deployment.
• Serve as a point of contact for clients (attorneys) via professional, clear email communication.
• Travel to Portland once a month to retrieve tablet inventory.
• Adapt quickly to new operational workflows and take on miscellaneous administrative or technical responsibilities as the company scales., * We work directly with indigent defense attorneys to advance technology in the legal space. • Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license (required for monthly equipment retrieval trips to Portland).
• Legal technology, paralegal with technology, or litigation support is a huge plus, but not absolutely required.
